Abstract
Ibn Sina, also known as Avicenna was a Persian physician, described as the father of early modern medicine. Avicenna authored the Canon of Medicine (Al-Qanun fi al-tibb): a five-volume medical encyclopedia. Book 2 and Book 5 of al-Qanun fi al-tibb describe over 700 simple drugs and compound medicines of plant, animal and mineral origin with their medicinal properties and instructions for their preparation. In GR Setra Complementary Medical Center, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, we treating patients with chronic disease such as malignancy, chronic kidney disease, heart disease and diabetes mellitus, based on the Canon of Medicine; where the drug manufacturing process takes up to 2years and must go through a material burial process, with a depth of 9 to 13 meters below ground level, this serves as a catalyst to perfect natural chemical compound. We will present some cases from our patients, such as cervix cancer, lung cancer, coronary heart disease, and kidney failure.
