Day 1 :
Keynote Forum
Yury Kronn
Energy Tools International, LLC, USA
Keynote: Subtle energy: Bridging modern science and ancient wisdom enables the creation of versatile tools for energy medicine
Time : 11:00 AM
Biography:
Dr. Yury Kronn was educated at Gorky University and earned his post-doctorate degree at Lebedev's Institute of Physics. He developed the first four-photon tunable laser, headed up research on lasers and nonlinear optics, developed the comprehensive theory of quantum nonlinear interaction of the electro-magnetic field with matter, and unraveled a series of nonlinear optics phenomena that had puzzled scientists for years. He was also an Adjunct Professor at both Moscow University and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Dr. Kronn has invented a subtle energy generator and formulated energy patterns that address specific applications.
Abstract:
What seems to be missing from the branch of the healthcare field known as “energy medicine” is a common language for the deep, practical understanding of what the ancients called “life force,’ “chi” or “prana,” and what frontier scientists call “subtle energy.” This lecture, given by Dr. Yury Kronn, is based on his 30 years comprehensive study of subtle energy, providing a clearly rendered picture of subtle energy’s role in our lives on all levels: physiological, psychological, mental and spiritual. Dr. Kronn will present the practical results of his long-term work using Vital Force Technology (VFT) for developing subtle energy patterns that aim to support our well-being. VFT is capable of generating, storing, reproducing and infusing subtle energy into various substances. During more than 25 years of working with Vital Force Technology, a unique and extensive library of thousands of subtle energy patterns has been created. These include, among others: 1) energetic blueprints of the Periodic Table elements; 2) patterns created following the rules of Traditional Chinese Medicine (“The Five Elements”); 3) clean, “noise free” blueprints of many herbs, gemstones, oils and other substances; 4) energy patterns created by distinguished healers’ intent, prayers, mantras, etc. In addition, many of these patterns have been experimentally tested using proven scientific methodologies with strong positive effects of the patterns observed on humans, animals, plants, and the health of cells, and even on gene activity. Presented research clearly confirms that subtle energy deserves the title given to it by ancients -- “the Life Force” -- and opens earlier unknown possibilities for rigorous scientific research of subtle energy, as well as the development of versatile tools for upcoming energy medicine.

Carolyn Coker Ross
CEO of The Anchor Program, USA
Keynote: Healing the brain, body and spirit in co-occurring addictions and eating disorders.
Time : 09:00AM
Biography:
Dr. Carolyn Coker Ross is an author, speaker, expert in using Integrative Medicine for the treatment of eating disorders, obesity and addictions. She is board certified in Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine and is a graduate of Andrew Weil’s fellowship in Integrative Medicine. She consults with treatment centers around the US who want to include her unique integrative medicine approach to treat eating disorders and addictions. She is the author of three books; the latest is The Food Addiction Recovery Workbook. Dr. Ross is the CEO of The Anchor Program™, an online coaching program for obesity and binge eating disorder.
Abstract:
Eating disorders (ED) and substance use disorders (SUD) co-occur in many individuals. This workshop emphasizes the importance of treating ED and SUD simultaneously as well as treating the underlying neurobiological, physical and traumatic causes of both. The presenter will offer a specific integrative approach to heal brain, body and spirit. Studies on the co-morbidity of ED and SUD show that thirty percent of females in treatment of alcoholism have eating disorders. Individuals with anorexia may have co-occurring rates of SUD as high as twenty-five percent. The rates for bulimia and binge eating disorder may reach seventy percent. Underlying root causes that occur in both SUD and ED such as genetic factors, trauma, neglect and abuse have been shown to have an effect on the brain’s ability to produce neurotransmitters that affect mood, eating behavior, impulsivity and reactivity to stress. Chronic depletion of specific vitamins and amino acids which are the precursors to neurotransmitters such as serotonin, epinephrine and dopamine have been implicated in this process. By addressing brain reward deficiencies, enhancing the function of the gastrointestinal tract (the gut brain) and improving an individual’s ability to manage stress in this integrative approach, the individual’s overall functioning in treatment may be enhanced and relapse risk may be reduced.
